Tour-de-Faure (Lot, France)
Tour-de-Faure is a small village set on the banks of the Lot, in the limestone landscape of the Lot department. The village offers a peaceful atmosphere, punctuated by old houses and a riverside conducive to walks. Its location near Cahors makes it a convenient base for exploring the vineyards and heritage of Quercy. The influence of the river and the surrounding limestone plateaus is clearly felt.
Nature and landscapes
The landscape consists of verdant banks along the Lot and limestone slopes typical of Quercy. Views over the valley offer changing perspectives depending on the light, with vineyards and meadows below. Photography enthusiasts appreciate the reflections of the village on the water at sunrise and sunset.
Gastronomy and wines

The banks of the Lot invite walking, cycling and water outings. There are slipways and offerings for boat trips on the river, as well as routes for short hikes to the plateaus and slopes. The area is also appreciated for observing riverside wildlife and birds.
