Nature & landscapes

The terrils dominate the horizon around Avion: vegetated artificial hills that offer walks and panoramas over the plain. The edges and rural paths allow walks on foot or by bicycle. The landscape changes with the seasons, shifting from meadows to shrub clusters on former wastelands.
