The atmosphere remains peaceful, with stone houses and scattered hamlets. It is a stop for those seeking nature, calm and local heritage.

Heritage and history

The village preserves buildings in traditional granite and a small parish church embedded in the old fabric of the town. Surrounding hamlets bear witness to continuous rural occupation for centuries.
