Laveissière is a mountain village nestled in the heart of the Monts du Cantal, within the Parc naturel régional des Volcans d'Auvergne. The landscapes around Laveissière combine grassy slopes, volcanic ridges and deep valleys. From some vantage points you can see the silhouettes of Puy Mary and Plomb du Cantal, landmarks of the range. The high-altitude meadows change color with the seasons, offering wide, open panoramas.
