Anglet borders the Atlantic Ocean between Bayonne and Biarritz, at the heart of the Basque coast. The town offers nearly 11 km of beaches, dunes and promenades that attract surfers and walkers. There is an alternation of wide shores and renowned surf spots, maritime pines and some protected natural areas. Its location makes excursions to nearby towns and the Basque hinterland easy.
